“Navels Falling into a Living Origami” è un disco atipico nel mondo dei DAAL (e nel mondo musicale in generale!): una lunghissima suite di 50 minuti che è un progetto ibrido, una miscela di parti inedite, e parti edite in passato, ma completamente stravolte e risuonate in un ottica sperimentale, andando a toccare confini fin’ora poco frequentati dal gruppo, come l’ambient, la soundtrack music, la classica, il dark orchestral, e naturalmente il progressive: un Maelmstron sonoro di non facilissima assimilazione, ma d’altronde una delle prerogative dei DAAL è sempre stata la ricerca! Per fare questo il gruppo ha scelto un piccolo ensemble di musicisti tra cui Guglielmo Mariotti (voce) , Simone Montrucchio (basso), Lorenzo Fasanelli (Chitarra Solista), Marcella Arganese (Chitarre acustiche), Salvatore Lazzara (Chitarre, Ehru) Mir Khista (Violino). "Navels Falling into a living origami" esce in contemporanea con “Decalogue of Darkness", due dischi completamente diversi, ma due facce della stessa medaglia! “... un gioco creato dalla creatività .... ripercorrere i labirinti della nostra mente, le sfaccettature dell’essere.... il piacere, la noia, la disperazione, il fango che avvolge i nostri pensieri . Abbiamo raccolto qua e là idee musicali di opere passate e le abbiamo vestite con nuovi abiti di scena.... ampliando gli orizzonti sonori ancora di più ..... lasciatevi andare... lasciatevi trasportare .... la vita è ricca di emozioni e storie da raccontare....” Alfio Costa
