“Opium populi” è il primo Album dei Tazebao in uscita a Settembre per Ma.Ra.Cash. Records.
“Opium Populi” è però anche un manifesto contro ogni fondamentalismo religioso ed estremismo ideologico, che parla della forza distruttiva usata contro chi non è allineato, oppure è d’intralcio al disegno di qualche potere forte. Lo fa per mezzo di uno “strumento” apparentemente anacronistico e con una vicenda lontana nel tempo: l’eresia Catara, e la
nascita dell’inquisizione.
Facile pensare alla frase di Marx: “ La religione è l’oppio dei popoli!”
Come affermare il contrario in questo momento storico ?

Opium Populi is the first album of Tazebao that will be released September 20th by Ma.ra.Cash. Records.
Opium Populi is a manifesto against all religious and ideological fundamentalism. Opium Populi gives voice to all rebels and free people which protest against strong political power through the historical facts happened in France during the Dark Age(XIIth century), the extermination of the of Cathar heresy and the beginning of the Inquisition.

“ Religion is the “opium populi” as Marx used to say … in this specific historical moment, isn’t this true, more than ever?
