Parri and Raoul Caprio, who left the label in 2007 and used to run his own prog label beforehand, (Kaliphonia) and a CD/LP shop in Milan.
Ma.Ra.Cash Records won the first edition of the ProgAwards as Best Indie Label.

After purchasing "The Gates Of Omega" by Moongarden, I urgently needed some more Cristiano Roversi, so I decided to get the first "Submarine Silence" album right now. Just look at the artwork, quite obviously designed by Paul Whitehad, and listen to the opening track "The Door", a short Yamaha CP-70 solo in the purest Tony Banks tradition - and you know what Cristiano Roversi and David Cremoni are up to here. This album is a sincere homage to the Genesis & Co. sound of the 70's - straightforward, without any attempt to hide the inspirational source, similar to the "Unifaun" project by Nad Sylvan and Christian "Bonamici" Thordin. It's not revolutionary at all, but perfect in the authentic continuation of a splendid musical heritage. I just love it!

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Firmly rooted in the past (late 60s, 70s), nevertheless with a fresh sound. Guests incude The Tangent's Andy Tillison and Soft Machine's Theo Travis.

This is the most beautiful symphonic progressive music I have heard since I first heard Yes' Magnification nearly 20 years ago. Robert Reed's orchestrations are magnificent, and are very much on par with Trevor Rabin's film scores as well as Larry Groupe's score for Magnification. I am a french horn player, and his soaring horn parts are some of the best I have ever heard. For some reason I could not select Part1: Sacrifice as my favorite track. It is indeed my favorite.
